100!!

No, not $100.

No, I'm not turning 100 years old.

No, this isn't my 100th post.

But, I did get 100% on my diet analysis project in my nutrition class!!!

The professor said "WOW" in her comments section.

This was such a relief because I spent so much time on that project.  It was also due during a very hectic week that consisted of my niece being born, an exam, and a trip to Austin to do two presentations for work.  Now I just have to get through the final exam in a week and I am home free - until Feburary when I start my Microbiology class.  I have a feeling it's gonna be a bit harder than nutrition....

Oh, and my new work pants came in the mail today.  I am super happy to see them!  They aren't exactly the color I was going for, but I'll take them anyway.  I got them mega cheap from Express - 40% and then $30 off my order - two Express pants for $55!!!  That's a deal I couldn't pass up...so I didn't.

Today was also our Holiday lunch for work and boy was it yummy.  I got all dressed up (I like to pretend I'm going to a fancy party, even though it's just lunch) and the food was yum-a-licious.  I had sea bass, in an attempt to live up to my nutrition goals that I listed in my nutrition project: eat more fish.

Do you have holiday parties for work?  Are they fun or boring?
We always have lunches at work, but they are usually really fun.  I'm pretty much a fan of everyone I work with and I'm an even bigger fan when we go out and don't talk about work - because we are so much cooler when we're not working.

  1. AHH, CONGRATS ON YOUR 100!!!! Great job!! Whoo hoo!

I'm actually taking Microbiology now!!! To be honest, I was a bit frightened before the course started... but it's actually pretty interesting! My professor tries really hard to relate the things we learn to our future work in hospitals. One thing though, the class has made me super paranoid about microbes and germs and bad stuff lingering on surfaces and such.
