I think that that might be the Air Force victory song or something.  Anyway, it sounded appropriate.  I am heading off to Honduras tomorrow morning (actually in about 4 hours since I have to leave at 3:30am) and won't be returning until Friday.  Yup - what equates to THREE days with my ayudante (and a few Embassy workers).

I'm excited and nervous.  Not to mention that I HATE flying into Tegucigalpa because it always feels like we're going to crash.  I'll forget all of that though - the minute I see Ivan.

Ok, so what does this trip mean?  It means no fabulous post from me.  I know, I know, you ten people that read my blog on a regular basis probably won't even notice.  But, just in case you were wondering why the same boring post is up day after day after day after day...it's because I'm not around. 

Plus, internet is hard to come by in Honduras.  I actually have to pay for it.  By the minutes.  And I don't really plan on spending a fortune to go to Honduras, only to spend hours on the internet.

So, fear not, when I return I shall update all you wonderful souls on the outcome of our visa interview.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I don't forget an important form, that I land safely in Tegucigalpa, and that Mel doesn't do anything drastic that shuts down the U.S. Embassy thereby canceling our visa appointment and making this trip worthless.
