Before I say toodles, I decided to link up with My Little Life and participate in her Five Question Fridays. So, let's have it!
- What do you listen to while driving?Hmm, it depends on who else is in the car and where I'm going. At 6:10am when I'm driving to the bus stop and at 6:10pm when I'm driving home, I like to listen to NPR. They usually have good and interesting programs on at that time and I enjoy listening to something worthy. If hubster is in the car then we're listening to one of the mixed CDs I made him - so it's either Eye of the Tiger, Air Supply, Everything I Do I Do for You, or Hotel California. Yeah, we're the epitome of coolness.
- What is your least favorite thing about fall?Although I love fall, I don't have to think too hard about this. My least favorite thing is that it's colder and reminds me that winter is coming. I hate the cold. I also don't like raking leaves, so that's a big negative too. Right now I'm also hating the fact that I have NO fall clothes.
- What does your dream house look like, inside and out?I haven't thought too much about the inside of my house, but I know I LOVE bungalow style homes. They are so cute and small and comfy looking. Like this one:
I know it's really small, but I don't care. I think it's so perfect. And here's a kitchen that I found that I love too:
I am in LOVE with this house

you're the perfect kitchen for me! I know it's small too, and everyone dreams of a huge kitchen, but it's perfect for my small, little house.
My dream house would be located in the country, in the middle of lots of land. So we could have some cows and chickens. And maybe I could have a vegetable garden. That would be so great.
- Would you ever own a minivan?
I know that minivans are despised these days and everyone loves SUVs, but not me. I don't know if I'll ever get a minivan, but I'm not opposed to them. Especially if I have a few kids and pets - they are the way to go. However, I don't really like SUVs because I find them wasteful - not that minivans are much better though. So, not really sure. I don't think about cars/minivans/SUVs very much - I can't really afford any kinda car right now!
- Do you wash new clothes before wearing them?
No. A lot of people think that's gross, but A LOT of times I wash them and they get ruined and then I never had a chance to wear them. So, at least if I wear it once before washing it, I've gotten to wear it that one time. So, that's my main reason. And, I'm usually too impatient to wait for the laundry to get done before donning my new clothes! However, if I ever had kids I'll definitely wash their clothes before they can wear them because what if there are pesticides and gross stuff on them - NOT ok for kiddies.
What are your plans for the weekend?

Happy Friday Dear! Oh how I love posts like this... It tells us so much about our favorite bloggers!! And I have to say, those exposed beams in that kitchen photo are gorgeous! I love that look.
ReplyDeleteOh and sweetie, have you stopped by and put your city info in at LOCATION CENTRAL yet? It's where you're able to see who else blogs in your area.

I feel the same way about fall meaning winter is coming. I am not a cold weather fan and would pass on winter all together if I could. Also, I am the same way about clothes. I don't want to miss the chance to wear something because my washer killed it right away.
ReplyDeleteThis weekend is Canadian Thanksgiving so yes, a turkey will be sacrificed for the cause. But it is an excellent excuse to vaccuum! Lots of people will be over and the noise will be off the charts -- and I won't be happier!
ReplyDeleteI liked your dream home...I hope you will have one someday.
ReplyDeleteGood for you for being a happy person and having a good outlook on life.
God Bless You!

I am SO with you on #5! And your dream house is now my dream house. Just sayin.

ps: you're right, Edinburgh Castle does look a bit like Hogwarts!
I love bungalow houses too! And that dream kitchen is to die for!
ReplyDeleteThank you SO much for answering my questions on my blog! Your advice was SO helpful. I'm definitely going to look into buying some underarmor. It's fortunate that I'm only 5'0", so I could shop in the kids section and save a little bit of money. :] I'm also going to try making sticky buns soon (with yeast)! Thanks so much for your help.. and for being such an awesome blogger friend. You are beyond encouraging and are an amazing woman! :D
